The Fisherman and His Soul
There was once a poor fisherman who made a living by fishing, living a very poor life. One day, he went to the seaside and suddenly found a beautiful pearl at the bottom of the sea. He picked it up without hesitation and took it home. The pearl was shining brightly and was very beautiful. In order to protect it, the fisherman put it in a box and stared at it all day long. Gradually, he began to feel lonely and stopped hanging out with his friends, and no longer went fishing. His wife asked him why he no longer went fishing, and the fisherman said he now had his own pearl and no longer needed to go fishing. However, as time went on, the fisherman began to feel bored and empty. He began to miss his past life, miss gathering with his friends, and miss the days of fishing by the sea. He finally realized that although the pearl was beautiful, it could not replace the joy of life. So he threw the pearl back into the sea and started his life again, living a simple and happy life.
