Ant and his dad were on a walk.

Ant was bored. Then he saw a hollow log.(安东尼厌烦了。然后他看到一根空心的木头。)

Ant looked inside the log but it was dark.

“I will see more if I am small.....”he said.

He pushed the button....
(他按下了按钮……)
The log was full of bugs.
(这个木头中充满了虫子。)
“Cool!”(“酷!”)
Suddenly the log shook.
(突然,木头摇晃起来。)
Ant saw a big, dark shape.
(安东尼看到了一个又大又黑的形状。)
It was a stag beetle.
(那是只雄鹿甲虫。)
The beetle was black with big jaws.
(这只鹿角虫是黑色的,有大颚。)
“Wow!”said Ant. “I will take a photo with my watch.”
(哇!安东尼说。“我要用我的手表拍照。”)
Flash! Went the watch.
(闪光! 打开了手表。)
The flash made the beetle jump.
(闪光使鹿角虫跳了起来。)
It ran at Ant!
(它让安东尼跑起来了!)
“Help!”yelled Ant.
(“救命!”安东尼吼叫道。)
He ran as fast as he could.
(他尽可能快地跑。)
The beetle ran faster.
(这个鹿角虫跑得更快。)
Ant found a small hole.
(安东尼发现了一个小洞。)
He jumped out and landed on the ground.
(他跳了出来并且落在地上。)
Ant pushed the button....
(安东尼按下按钮……)
He picked up the stag beetle.
(他捡起了鹿角虫。)
“Not so scary now!”he said.
(“现在不那么可怕了!”他说。)
