"借调"用英语怎么说？一个非常简单又非常熟悉的词

我今天在收到的邮件中读到下面这段文字，觉得有必要说一说second这个词。

想必朋友们对second这个词很熟悉，不过，我今天分享的是second的另一个意思。

注意：second 在这里用作动词，重读在第二个音节, 读作 [sɪˈkɒnd]，其中英文释义如下：

to send an employee to another department, office, etc. in order to do a different job for a short period of time 临时调派，短期调任

用法：~ sb (from sth) (to sth)

例句：

Each year two teachers are seconded to a rural school for six months. 每年有两名教师被派到乡村学校工作六个月。

During the dispute, many police officers were seconded from traffic duty to other services. 在这场纠纷中，许多警察从交通部门调到其他部门。

second 作动词时，加后缀-ment, 变成名词secondment，意思是“临时调任，暂调”
