越妃从皇后殿中将霓凰带去了自己的昭仁宫，霓凰以为下毒之人是皇后，因此并未设防越妃，喝下了情丝绕。此时太子将司马雷带到霓凰面前，靖王硬闯昭仁宫将霓凰救下，穆青亦在宫外抓住了欲逃走的司马雷。霓凰请求梁帝做主，越妃谎称太子并不知情，自己承担了罪责。梁帝将其谪降为嫔，闭门思过，罚太子禁足东宫三个月。
