2. cut up 切碎 cut down 砍伐，砍到 up / down 为副词，
cut …into …把……切成……cut into pieces 切成碎片
3. pour v. 倒出，倾倒 pour sb. sth. = pour sth. for sb.为某人倒……
pour … into / in …把……倒入……，通常是液体或者粉末状物体。
put …into/in… 把……放进……里
Can you put your books into your bag ?你能将你的书放进你的书包里吗
4.peel v. 剥皮，去皮
peel sb. sth. = peel sth. for sb. 为某人削某物
Can you peel me carrots ?=Can you peel carrots for me ?

强调用某一原材料制作某种成品或经过努力做成某事。

6. how much / how many 多少 用法巧记：
how many 在句首，名词复数跟着走，一般问句紧相随，其他成分不
要丢。how much 表数量，不可数名词紧跟上，若其要是单独用，
询问价格显本领。
7.need ♦ 情态动词 需要 ，常用于否定句和疑问句中。
否定句：needn’t 不必You needn’t finish your work now .
你不必现在就完成你的工作。
疑问句：—Need I go there with him ? 我需要和他去哪儿吗？
—No , you needn’t . 不，你不必。
♦ n. 需要 in need of 需要
Our school is in need of English teachers .
我们学校需要老师。

当主语为人时，need to do sth.
当主语为物时，need doing sth.
You don’t need to come here . 你不需要来这里。

8. add v. 增加，添加
♦ add … to … 把……加到……上
♦ add to 增加 The music adds to our happiness .
音乐给我们增加了快乐。
♦ add up to 总计达 The expenses add up to $ 95 .
9. forget v. 忘记 pt. forgot opp. remember 记住
♦ forget to do sth . 忘记要做某事（事情未做）祈使句中用to do .
♦ forget doing sth. 忘记做过某事（事情已做）
♦ forget sb. / sth. 忘记某人/ 某物
leave sth. at / in / on 地点 把某物忘记（落）在……
