发掘自己学好英语的内在目标
Repeatedly asking why is an easy way to find your deeper purpose for English. Then you'll find your big internal goal. For example, you might first ask yourself, “Why am I learning English?” Maybe your first answer is, “To get a high test score.” That’s a weak external goal.
So you ask yourself again, “Why do I want a high test score?” Maybe you answer, “To get a better job.”Again you ask, “Why do I want a better job?” Now you are going deeper, finding your true purpose. Maybe you answer, “To make more money for my family.”And then you ask, “Why do I want to make more money for my family?” And you might answer, “Because I love them and want to provide an abundant and wonderful life for them.”
You have found your big internal goal. Your big goal is not to get a high test score, your true goal is to create a wonderful life for your family. English is a tool to help you with that goal.
反复问“为什么”是找到你学习英语的深层目的的一个简单方法。然后你会找到你内心的大目标。例如，你可能会先问自己，“我为什么要学英语？”也许你的第一个答案是，“才能考出高分。” 这是一个弱的外部目标。

你已经找到了你内在的大目标。你的大目标不是考高分，你真正的目标是为家人创造美好的生活。英语是帮助你实现这一目标的工具。
