第十八章 布兰 BRAN 开天眼,布兰苏醒
故事梗概:
昏迷中的布兰一直做着一个似乎不会结束的梦,梦中他不停地向下坠落,耳边有个声音在说快飞吧,然后他不知道怎么飞,只好继续坠落。他想起鲁温学士为他制作的陶土娃娃从楼上摔下摔得粉碎的模样,心中有无限恐惧,他好想哭。。。
一个声音说,不要哭,要飞。 我不会飞,布兰说。 你怎么知道?你试过吗? 布兰环顾四周,声音来自一只与他一同下坠的乌鸦。乌鸦试图让布兰学会飞,布兰回忆起那张亮澄澄的脸孔,而乌鸦却要他忘记这个。
乌鸦引导他往下看,布兰开始还很害怕,他看到了冬临城里哥哥罗柏苦练剑术;向东看,他看到坐在帆船上独自神伤的母亲;往南看,他看到父亲在向国王求情,珊莎含泪入眠,艾莉亚郁郁寡欢;向西穿过狭海,他看到了自由贸易城,多斯拉克草原;往北望去,他看到绝境长城之上雪诺孤独得睡在冰冷的床上;越过长城,他看到了无边无际,白雪覆盖的森林,河岸和冰原,看到了世界的尽头。。。
乌鸦告诉他你必须活下去,因为凛冬已至。布兰这才发现乌鸦原来有三只眼睛,第三只眼里充满了一种恐怖的知识。布兰想起了父亲有关勇敢的教诲:人唯有恐惧的时候方能勇敢。乌鸦催促布兰:现在就抉择,不飞,只能摔死。布兰振臂一挥,飞了起来,豁然开朗
乌鸦用尖嘴狠狠啄布兰额头的中央,双眼中间的地方,布兰感到一阵尖锐的疼痛,大叫起来,乌鸦发出刺耳的尖叫。世界开始天旋地转,渐渐地乌鸦突然变成了一个女仆。。。
布兰意识到自己正躺在临冬城某个寒冷高塔房间的床上,女仆吓了一跳,手上的脸盆摔落在地,一路小跑高喊他醒了,他醒了。。。布兰想要起身,却有动弹不得。这时,他的小狼跳到了布兰的身上,用舌头舔着他的脸。罗柏得到消息赶到房间,布兰一脸镇定地对罗柏说:我觉得给小狼取名叫“夏天”。。。

- Bran looked down. There was nothing below him now but snow and cold and death, a frozen wasteland where jagged blue-white spires of ice waited to embrace him. They flew up at him like spears. He saw the bones of a thousand other dreamers impaled upon their points. He was desperately afraid.
