在《秋言物语》的读者见面会上，主持人问过我关于爱情的看法，当时我回答：“我想把小爱放下，成就大爱！
爱是人类的本性，是人与人之间的纽带。每个人都渴望爱，但太多人都误解了爱。那些以爱之名的控制、伤害、索取……背离了爱的本质。很多人以为爱是获得某个人的爱，甚至是去占有给你带来爱的感觉的人或物。而爱其实是一种能量，我们真正需要的其实是爱的能量。只要我们去给予、去付出、去奉献，我们就在爱的能量里面。这个能量可以滋养我们，让我们自身的振频和能量等级提高。看似是我们在付出、奉献，但我们得到了爱的能量，甚至获得的远远要比付出得多。这个获得的能量是倍增的。
小到爱一个人，只是去给予，无私奉献，创造出爱的能量，而不在意对方怎么对自己，大到爱万事万物，包括对一切生灵、国家、人民、人类乃至整个地球、整个宇宙的仁爱之心。想一想我们能获得多大的能量？当心量广大至容纳太虚时，其实我们就连接到了宇宙意识。而宇宙意识，也就是我们的源头，也就是虚空，其实就是爱。当我们连接到这份虚空时，我们所有的匮乏、恐惧、不安立刻会消失。
如果让自己的心住到虚空里，这里本身有着永恒的光明。不是依赖日月的光明，而是自身有一种光明，这种光明是永远都有的。
如果安住虚空，会发现虚空正如自性一样，清净寂然、心量广大、无边无际、包容一切、等视一切，也就拥有了无限的能量，能生出一切、能运用一切。如此，我们还会有所谓的伤害、失去、匮乏、恐惧？那只是小我的剧本罢了。
这些年我夜以继日地工作，把所有的时间与精力都奉献给了公司和自己的使命。大风大浪是常态，为何我却越活越青春、越活越喜悦？因为我安住虚空。
In an Autumn Dialogues conference, the host asked me my opinion of love. I replied to leave small love (selfishness) behind for greater love (devotion). It is part of human nature to love, and that love binds people in a synchronicity. Everyone longs to be loved, but many love with misunderstanding. In the name of love, they control, harm, demand... there are even acts of betrayal. Love is an energy. More specifically, love is a “vibration frequency” between people. While it may appear that we are giving, in fact we are the ones receiving that energy, much more so than we give. The energy that flows is more powerful than any force you can imagine.
Allow the mind to dwell in that emptiness. It is our true nature: quiet, vast, inclusive. If you stop trying to control something that cannot be controlled, you will not experience the frustration of failing. People cannot be controlled. If you think you can do it, you will ultimately fail. There is no restraining the emptiness that is Tao.
