animal farm（动物庄园）英文原版笔记-第一章（动物庄园）

英语学习者阅读英文原著，初期一定要把握“有趣比有益重要”的总原则，所以我一向不推荐初学者仓促间就去阅读严肃英语读物，虽然这种“既能学习英语，又能学习知识”一举两得的想法很好，但是结果总是不如人意。

但是有少量这样的书，既有趣又有益，实在是英语原著中的上上品。

个人把《动物庄园》排名此类读物第一，它几乎满足《初级英文原著读物》的所有要求：文章短小，文风幽默，立意深刻，词汇简单而丰富。以下是英语阅读笔记欢迎大家点赞收藏，推荐大家阅读本书英文版，也欢迎大家交流意见！

第一句

MR JONES, of the Manor Farm, had locked the hen-houses for the night, but was too drunk to remember to shut the pop-holes.
