你只知道NEBOSH,但你知道NEBOSH到底有哪些课程吗?大家所说的NEBOSH证书到底是指哪一门课程的证书?
其实NEBOSH把它的课程也分成了三个等级,以便不同工作经验,教育背景和考证目的的人员能选择适合自己的课程。这三个等级分别是Award,Certificate和Diploma。具体看下面这张表吧。
相应课程的英文缩写大家可以百度一下了,主要是跟工作安全,环境,防火有关的英文缩写啦。而我们常说的NEBOSH证书其实是指NEBOSH IGC和NEBOSH IOG。IGC内容主要是员工安全与健康综合管理,普遍适用于各行各业的EHS。IOG是NEBOSH Oil and Gas Certificate,适用于石油和天然气行业。要注意的是,这些课程的内容只涉及安全与健康。关于环境的有其它专门的课程。
无论有没有EHS工作经验,如果真的要考NEBOSH,都建议直接报考Certificate。因为Award性价比实在不高。每个课程也要个5K左右的费用,然而这些基本知识点去淘宝花100块买些二手安全工程专业课课本自己回家看看不就好了么。
为什么说IGC非常适合环境工程毕业的学生,且不管有没有工作经验呢,因为环境工程的专业课并不像安全工程的专业课包含很多管理和系统安全的概念,所以环境工程的人在做EHS的时候往往没有闭环管理和系统工程的意识,还只是停留在解决单个问题上。而IGC的课程内容看的多了,就能发现每个主题下面,解决问题的套路是差不多的,这样的内容或许可以给环境工程的学生一些EHS管理方面的启发。

在NEBOSH IGC考试中,经常会碰到“define, give, explain, suggest, complete, describe”等“Command words”。这些Command words使用的目的是检验学生对主题的理解程度以及对相应主题的表达能力。

ACCIDENTS:
1) Accident Incident Rate: Meaning – Explain
Answer:
The number of accidents/incidents per thousand employees. = Total Incident / Accident * 1000
2) A record should be maintained – Why?
