我的一些考托福雅思的学生在准备阅读时经常掉入一个陷阱。由于阅读考试是限时的，只有1小时，但是要读完总共2000多字的文章，做40道题，时间很紧张。
学生们觉得既然考试的时候时间紧，不能做到一个字一个字的精读，那么平时练习的时候也不需要精读，只要泛读找答案就行了。
这样做的同学往往会发现，自己做了30篇题了，阅读能力还是不见长，40道题还是得错20道。
考试就像是一个体重秤，你上去是为了测量结果的，你得先少吃多锻炼，然后上去数字才有变化。阅读同样，你阅读能力没提升，却总要去过秤，上面的数字肯定不会变。你得能力提升了，分数才会变。那怎么才能提高阅读能力呢？
答案就是：精读。
我们要精读文章，阅读能力才会提升。
无论是对单词，对句式的熟悉程度，还是对英语的思维，字里行间的言下之意，文章主旨的概括，写作目的，都是在精读中得到提升的。
可能会有人说，精读花时间啊，我没有那么多时间。
我们首先要明确，一项技能的熟练掌握可以分为两个大阶段，一是我能做这件事了，二是我能熟练做这件事了。
精读是帮助我们完成第一步，能读懂英语文章。而想要熟练读懂，就需要我们：做大量精读 学习速读 练习速读。
无论是为了准备语言考试，还是平时工作需要，又或者是业余爱好喜欢读英文书，提高自己的英文阅读能力都是好处多多的。
所以，接下来我会在学会每周五的学习栏目做一个连载，讲英语阅读的方法，从精读的方法，到速读的技巧。每次讲解都会配有相应的练习。大家可以打印出来做，也可以看着手机，在纸上写答案。无论通过何种方式，都希望能够帮助到大家。
Part 1 什么是精读？
精读，就是仔细读。把文章做解剖。主要分成两个层次：
浅：学习生词和语法
深：体会作者观点，思想，文章特点
Part 2 精读的步骤及详解
精读分为以下几个步骤：
1、通读全文，了解文章大意
2、学习文中主要单词和句子
3、理解全文，概括中心思想
4、分析作者的写作意图
5、对文章进行评价
我们接下来对每个步骤进行详解并配有例题。（题目答案在文末）
1、通读全文，了解文章大意（第一遍阅读）
通常，我们读的文章的题材和篇章结构都是有规律的。比如，
1、在看有标题的文章时，通过看标题，我们就可以预测文章的主题。新闻报道更是如此，标题通常是文章的中文主旨，我们可以从标题与的作者的写作意图。
2、在看没有标题的文章时，可以迅速浏览，特别注意文章的开头和结尾，抓文章主旨。
Passage 1 阅读下面的文章，了解其大意。
Traveling Off-Season
London in the summer, NYC at Thanksgiving, Florida during March Break—jetting off to your holiday destination when everyone else is going mean guaranteed swarms of tourists, long waits and frayed tempers. 2、学习主要单词和句子（第二遍阅读）
在通读全文之后，我们的精读就开始了。在第二遍阅读中，我们需要一边阅读一边标记认识的单词、词组或者不明白意思的句子，然后在读完之后，把这些单词、句子通过查词典或者查资料的方式弄明白。
Passage 2 阅读下面的文章，标出你不认识的单词和看不懂的句子。

很多学生的精读就止于第二步了，查了单词，就结束了。这是不够的，我们还需要再通读全文，对文章的整体有一个更全面的认识。
在明白字面意思的基础上，进一步探究文章的中心思想，透过现象抓本质，弄明白作者想要表达的思想观点。
Passage 3 阅读下面的文章，概括中心思想。
Signing Up for Special Tours
If you want to sail by the tourist mob, it’s smart to purchase a cultural tour from a specialized company. Often these organizations get after-hours or behind-the-scenes access to famous places. You’ll get a guided tour and beat the rush. Is it the only downside? 4、分析作者的写作意图
在总结概括中心思想之后，我们还需要进一步找出作者的写作意图。有的同学分不清楚中心思想和写作意图的区别。我用一个例子来说明一下：
中心思想：高碳水化合物的食物容易使人肥胖。
写作意图：号召大家吃低碳的食物，健康减肥。

Visiting During the Week
Weekends are always busier at popular tourist site because kids and parents are free from school and work commitments. For shorter lines, fewer people, and better opportunities to interact and enjoy the attraction ,stop by during the week. In many cases, you’ll have the place all to yourself. To take this tip one step further, and guarantee a further reduction in cross at you museum, gallery or tourist hot spot, head there after 2pm when visiting school groups will have returned to class. School trips during the week often hit attractions in the morning, but tend to depart in the early afternoon.
